We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sheet Metal Supervisor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day sheet metal operations, coordinating trades and production activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate sheet metal fabrication and installation activities.
- Manage and allocate work to sheet metal workers and apprentices.
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure work meets required standards.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and labour requirements.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, contractors, and other trades.
- Provide guidance, training,
and support to team members.
- Identify and resolve production and installation issues.
About you
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or installation.
- Previous supervisory or leading-hand experience.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal work, fabrication, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Solid organisational and problem-solving abilities.
