We work closely with steel fabricators, Structural Engineers, Builders, and qualified services across residential, commercial, industrial, and mining sectors.

About the role

This role is ideal for a seasoned detailer who enjoys precision work, problem-solving, and taking ownership of their drawings and models. You will work across a diverse range of structural steel projects, producing accurate 3D models and 2D documentation while collaborating directly with clients and fabrication teams.

Key responsibilities

- Developing 3D models and 2D drawings for structural steel projects using AutoCAD and Advance Steel
- Interpreting and deciphering engineering and architectural drawings
- Communicating professionally with clients via email and phone
- Using Microsoft Office for documentation and project communication




- Working within project timelines to deliver accurate, high-quality drawings
- Contributing to improvements in design and drafting processes
- Supporting coordination with fabricators and builders to ensure constructability

About you

- Minimum 5 years' experience in structural steel detailing (required)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Advance Steel experience highly regarded
- General computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Trade background highly regarded (boilermaker, fabricator, metalwork)
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and construction processes
- A detail-oriented person who enjoys problem solving and precision work
- Excellent communication skills, providing precise information via email and phone conversations with a diverse range of clients
