This is a local pickup and delivery role, giving you the opportunity to use your MC driving experience while remaining within the local and surrounding areas.

With an early 4:30am start, you'll be responsible for completing local deliveries and pickups safely, efficiently and professionally while providing excellent service to our customers.

About the Role

n

As an MC Driver, you will:

n

n
- Complete local pickups and deliveries across Gosford and surrounding areas.
n
- Commence work at approximately 4:30am, Monday to Friday.
n
- Operate MC vehicles safely and professionally.
n
- Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections as required.
n
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
n
- Ensure freight is correctly secured and transported in accordance with load restraint and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
n
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks.
n
- Complete delivery documentation, scanning and manifests accurately.
n
- Ensure deliveries and pickups are completed within required timeframes.
n
- Communicate effectively with Operations, customers and other drivers.
n
- Provide skilled and reliable customer service at every delivery and collection.
n




- Monitor freight condition and ensure customer goods are handled appropriately.
n
- Keep vehicles and work areas clean and well maintained.
n
- Report hazards, near misses, incidents and vehicle issues promptly.
n
- Follow all Team Global Express safety policies and procedures.
n

What You'll Bring

n

To be successful, you'll need:

n

n
- A current and valid MC licence – mandatory.
n
- Demonstrated commercial experience operating MC vehicles.
n
- Previous local PUD, general freight or transport experience will be highly regarded.
n
- Sound knowledge of load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
n
- Experience safely loading, unloading and securing freight.
n
- Good knowledge of the Gosford/Central Coast area would be advantageous.
n
- Ability to complete vehicle pre-start inspections.
n
- Valuable communication and customer-service skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and manage your delivery schedule.
n
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling where required.
n
- Strong attention to safety.
n
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
n
