MK & KY Painting Services Pty Ltd is an established Sydney painting and construction-

services business delivering residential and related painting works for builders, developers and

private clients.

n

Our operating model involves coordinating a substantial network of painting subcontractors

n

across multiple projects throughout Sydney and NSW.

n

As the volume and complexity of our contractor, project and operational workflows have

n

increased, we are seeking an experienced Operations & Procedures Specialist to analyse and

n

improve our business processes, procedures and operating systems.

n

About the Role

n

This role is focused on analysing how work moves through the business and developing

n

practical improvements to efficiency, consistency, cost control and service delivery.

n

You will review workflows across:

n

n
- quality issues;
n
- customer handovers; and
n

n

You will prepare and implement improved SOPs and procedures, analyse operational

n

performance, recommend process improvements and assist management with introducing

n

appropriate workflow and automation tools.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Analyse existing operational methods, workflows and procedures.
n
- Prepare workflow maps and identify bottlenecks, duplicated work and control weaknesses.
n
- Develop and revise SOPs, procedures, checklists and operational documentation.
n
- Review subcontractor onboarding, allocation, communication, performance and
n
- Develop contractor and operational KPIs and reporting.
n
- Analyse operational costs, delays, rework, defects and workflow performance.
n




- Review and improve procurement and supplier-evaluation procedures.
n
- Improve tender, quotation and bidding workflows.
n
- Analyse customer-enquiry, quotation and sales-handover procedures.
n
- Evaluate appropriate digital and AI-enabled workflow tools.
n
- Assist with implementation of approved process improvements.
n
- Monitor compliance with revised procedures and recommend ongoing improvements.
n
- Bachelor degree or higher in Business Management, Engineering Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, International Business/Trade or a closely related discipline.
n
- At least two years of relevant qualified experience in operations, project coordination, business-process improvement, supply-chain/service-provider operations or a related field.
n
- Demonstrated experience developing or improving SOPs and operational procedures.
n
- Experience analysing workflows, operational information and KPIs.
n
- Strong stakeholder and service-provider coordination skills.
n
- Strong analytical, organisational and written communication skills.
n
- Professional English communication skills.
n

- Experience in construction, trade services, contractor-based operations, logistics or supply chain.

- Contractor/service-provider onboarding and performance-management experience.
n
- Procurement, supplier, quotation or tender-process experience.

- Mandarin language capability, given regular operational communication with
