Castlereagh Boutique Hotel is looking for a friendly, professional and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and has a genuine interest in food and beverage.
Key responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to hotel guests and patrons
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and other beverages
- Take customer orders accurately and process transactions through the POS system
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented bar area
- Restock beverages, glassware and other bar supplies as required
- Assist with stock rotation, stock control and minimising wastage
- Make recommendations and upsell beverages where appropriate
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol (RSA)
requirements are followed at all times
About you
- Has previous bar or hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel, restaurant or function environment
- Holds a current NSW RSA certificate
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is confident, reliable and well presented
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Is able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Is versatile and available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
