We are working with a leading Australian law firm based in Perth for an Associate to join their Banking & Finance team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a successful Banking & Finance team in Perth, advising major lenders, borrowers, sponsors and corporate clients on financing transactions. The team works on significant domestic and cross-border matters, with particular focus across project and corporate finance and transactions involving the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.

The role will involve advising on project finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending, including the structuring, documentation and execution of complex financing arrangements. The successful candidate will draft and negotiate finance and security documentation,



and manage key transaction workstreams.

Essential Criteria:

- 1+ years’ PQE;
- Strong banking & finance law background;
- Experience liaising with clients;
- Strong team player;
- Commercial awareness;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Technically excellent.
