Essential Criteria:
- 3+ Years of industrial blasting and painting experience in a workshop environment
- Understanding and familiarity with industrial paints eg. Zinc Rich Primers,
High Build Epoxies, Polyurethanes
- Competently use airless and conventional spray equipment
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Ability to apply coatings to specified dry film thicknesses through use of wet film gauges.
- Ability to adjust application technique based on varying conditions
- Familiarity with and understanding of full coating processes including cleanliness of substrates, stripe coating and the relevant QA/QC requirements
- Understanding and familiarity with grit blasting to Sa 3 & Sa 2.5
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain blasting equipment & blast room
- Ability to load and unload blasting trolleys
Desirable Criteria
- Forklift Ticket
- Operate a gantry or overhead crane
