About the role
Innotech Control Systems Australia is seeking a detail-driven Controls Estimator to become a valued member of our Projects team. In this Full-time role, you’ll provide essential estimating and project coordination support, reporting directly to the General Manager - Projects. Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare accurate, timely and competitive quotations for tender, refit, and design & construct projects.
- Review drawings and specifications to determine materials, labour and system requirements.
- Identify and escalate commercial, technical and scope risks to support sound project decisions.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors to support successful tender outcomes.
- Engage with the market to gather pricing, product information and competitor insights that strengthen estimating accuracy and win rates.

Experience and Qualifications
- Trade‑qualified in HVAC or Electrical, with solid technical understanding of BMS, HVAC or building automation systems.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in BMS estimating, including reviewing drawings, specifications and determining labour and material requirements.
- Proven ability to identify commercial, technical and scope risks within tender documents and prepare accurate, competitive quotations.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with experience liaising with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Highly organised and detail‑driven, with the ability to manage multiple tenders, maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement.
