- $1,307.56grossper week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65%superannuation.

- Permanent Full timeposition based at our Principal Depot in Charlton.

- Accrue up to 4 weeks' flex time to be taken as leave.

About the position

n

As a Plant Operator in the grasscontrol section of the Parks & Recreation Services Branch, yourprimary responsibility is to efficiently operate plant andequipment, in line with Council policies, to control and managevegetation within the Toowoomba Region's Open Space areas. Thisrole encompasses the safe operation and maintenance of variousmachinery while also providing occasional supervision to casualwork teams from time to time during peak operational periods.

What you'll bring

- WHS Competency (WhiteCard) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in theconstruction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness toobtain prior to commencement.
n
- Current 'MR' Driver'sLicence, or willingness to obtain within 3months.
n
- ACDC (Agricultural ChemicalsDistribution Control) Spraying certificate is highlydesirable.
n
- Working in Proximityto Traffic (Part 1 and 2), or willingness to obtainwithin 3 months.
n
- Demonstrated abilityto operate a variety of machinery, including equipmentwith a range of power capacities, and to perform physicallabouring tasks.
n
- Communication and customerservice skills.
n
- Leadership and teamworkskills.
n
- Accountability.
n
