We are seeking a Psychologist to join a growing clinical team, with a primary focus on treating specific phobias, particularly fear of driving (vehophobia) through evidence-based CBT and Virtual Reality (VR) exposure therapy.

About the Role
n
You'll primarily work within a specialist phobia treatment clinic, delivering a structured 6-session CBT‐based treatment program incorporating VR exposure.
n
There will also be opportunities to provide psychological assessment and treatment across CTP, Workers Insurance, Medicare, private and employer‐funded services, depending on your skills and scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Deliver evidence‐based psychological assessment and treatment
n
- Provide CBT and VR exposure therapy for specific phobias
n
- Support clients experiencing anxiety and fear of driving
n
- Monitor client progress and treatment outcomes
n
- Complete psychological assessments, reports and clinical documentation
n
- Communicate with clients, referrers and other stakeholders
n
- Work collaboratively with other health professionals
n
- Maintain accurate clinical records and meet relevant funding requirements
n

About You
n
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
n
- Current AHPRA registration
n
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and evidence‐based treatment
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A client‐centred and professional approach
n
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence
n
- Current SIRA registration or eligibility to obtain
n
n
Experience in CTP, Workers Insurance, anxiety, specific phobias or vehophobia will be highly regarded.
