Pastry Chef - Casual | Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
Location: Maggio's Bakery Cammeray, Sydney
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Pastry Chef to join our dedicated team at Maggio's Bakery Cammeray-one of Sydney's busiest and most respected Italian patisseries.
About the Role
- Casual position based in Cammeray
- Early morning starts required
- Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and baking of a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and baked goods
- Cake decorating and finishing to a high professional standard
- High-volume, consistent production of cakes and pastries
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards and a clean, organized kitchen
Requirements
- Certificate III or higher in Patisserie or Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar pastry or bakery production role
- Robust cake decorating and finishing skills
- Solid baking knowledge and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Own transport highly preferred due to early start times
