We are seeking a dedicated and organised Support Officer to join our Support Coordination team in this newly created role on a fixed-term 3-month contract.
About the Role
The Support Officer provides administrative and operational support to the Support Coordination team, participants and their families. This role plays a key part in ensuring NDIS services are delivered efficiently, participant records are maintained accurately, and compliance requirements are met. The successful applicant will be a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and a commitment to person-centred service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for Support Coordination enquiries, responding to telephone, email and face-to-face interactions
- Assist the Support Coordination team with day‑to‑day administrative functions, participant communications, and service delivery activities
- Maintain accurate participant records and ensure compliance with NDIS requirements
- Support rostering, scheduling, and coordination of services
- Liaise with participants, families, allied health professionals and external stakeholders
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documentation as required
- Support quality assurance, incident reporting,
and continuous improvement processes
About the You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience disability services, community services, or a similar role
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS and disability sector (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems
- A commitment to person-centred practice and supporting people with disability
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Driver Licence
