Position Overview

This role oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time, to a high standard, and in compliance with industry codes of practice and Aged Care and Seniors Living Standards.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage the preventative maintenance program, ensuring buildings, equipment, and grounds are well maintained.
n
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry codes and Aged Care Standards.
n




- Coordinate deliveries and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
n
- Manage certain inventory and track stock levels.
n
- Perform a variety of handyman tasks, including minor repairs, furniture fixes, and replacements.
n
- Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs.
n
- Request and coordinate external trade work, including obtaining quotes and overseeing approved jobs.
n
- Collaborate with other members of the Maintenance Team other departments and provide updates to the Executive Manager on repairs, inventory, and job status.

About You

n

n
- Experience working in aged care / seniors living desirable
n
- Demonstrated experience in handyman/trade/maintenance work
n
- Awareness of regulations and the importance of compliance
n
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Must have current police check, covid and flu vaccine and 100 points of ID
