Site Manager - $7M Architectural Home Build - Newport - 5 Days Per Week

An award winning architectural home builder is seeking a Site Manager to join their team and manage a brand new project for them which is a $7M home in Newport.

n

This is a long-term position suiting someone who enjoys detailed work, communicates well, and has the drive to move a project and team forward.

n

You'll work alongside an experienced Project Manager, a capable Leading Hand and a robust trade base, enabling you to focus on quality delivery, client relationships and maintaining high standards on site.

n

Your Responsibilities:

n

Manage the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency

n

Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain program and budget

n

Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and engineers to ensure smooth delivery

n





Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager

n

Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and company safety standards

n

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

n

Lead and motivate the on-site team to deliver a top-tier finish

n

What We're Looking For:

n

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Foreman / Site Manager in high-end residential construction (essential)

n

Experience on large formwork projects (big advantage)

n

Proven experience delivering architecturally designed homes

n

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

n

Confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders professionally

n

Thorough understanding of construction processes, legislation, and WHS standards

n

Excellent planning, scheduling, and problem-solving capabilities

n

Carpentry background is preferred.
