Role Description This part-time Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role at Medical Press – Chile is a hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The role involves assisting in the analysis of business processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and supporting the development of recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes.

The Business

Analyst will help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate data and findings into clear insights for stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in meetings and workshops, and maintaining accurate documentation of processes, requirements, and changes. The role also includes learning and applying standard business analysis methods and tools under the guidance of more senior team members.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Foundational Business Analysis capabilities,



including basic understanding of project lifecycles and requirement gathering.
- Solid verbal and written Communication skills to interact with stakeholders and clearly present findings.
- Knowledge of Business Process concepts and ability to document workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ability to work with Business Requirements, including assisting in defining, documenting, and validating requirements.
- Proficiency in common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, collaboration platforms).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid workplace, managing time and tasks across on-site and remote settings.
- Relevant tertiary education or ongoing studies in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in an entry-level setting.
- Experience or coursework related to data analysis, reporting, or process improvement is beneficial.
