Build your career in software development, AI engineering, automation, and DevOps with practical training and support from FDM.

Training starts in FDM's Skills Lab, followed by assignments with leading Australian and global organisations. We match you to an assignment based on your strengths, interests, and career goals.

Start dates: rolling intake. Apply now.

Your first 12 weeks

You will build skills in JavaScript, React, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, AI integrations, automation, and testing. Prior AI experience is not expected. Potential and curiosity matter.

Roles you could move into

- AI Engineer. Help teams build, test, and improve AI-supported solutions using software, data, and automation to solve real business problems.
- Full Stack Developer. Work across front-end and back-end development to help build applications, features, and digital platforms people use every day.
- DevOps Engineer. Support the tools, scripts, and processes that help software teams build, test, and release technology more smoothly.
- Automation Tester. Help teams test software faster and more reliably by creating automated tests, finding issues, and improving quality before release.

Where it leads: Your path can open into software development, AI engineering, automation testing, or DevOps roles.
