As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will play an important role in providing high-quality education and care for children, building meaningful relationships with children and families, and contributing to an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
- Develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on children's interests, strengths and individual needs
n
- Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children
n
- Work collaboratively with educators to deliver a high-quality educational program
n
- Contribute to observations, documentation and children's learning portfolios
n
- Support children's wellbeing, learning and development
n
- Establish positive relationships with families and the wider community
n
- Contribute to our continuous improvement and quality improvement processes
n
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
n
n
About you
n
n
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
n
- Graduate Diploma qualifications will only be considered where the underlying Bachelor degree is in a relevant field of study and the qualification pathway meets ECT requirements
n
- A current Working with Children Check
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications, including HLTAID012 or equivalent
n
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
- An understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS)
n
- Robust communication and teamwork skills
n
- A warm, nurturing and positive approach
n
- A commitment to providing high-quality education and care
n
- The ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team
n
- Non-contact programming and documentation time
n
- Paid professional development, including conferences, workshops, further study opportunities and mentoring
n
- Paid staff meetings and room meetings
n
- Christmas shutdown period (paid using leave entitlements for permanent staff)
n
- A supportive Management Committee that actively invests in educator wellbeing, including paid bonding and team-building activities
n
