A major enterprise transformation program is underway within one of Australia's leading insurance organisations, focused on migrating from Salesforce Sales Cloud to Financial Services Cloud (FSC). This is a high‐impact opportunity offering genuine ownership and the chance to shape and lead delivery from the front.

This program requires a senior Salesforce leader with a strong engineering and architecture background – someone who has experience with such migrations, understands the complexity, knows what good looks like, and can lead a multi‐disciplinary team with confidence.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Leading discovery activities and defining the FSC migration strategy and solution architecture
n
- Assessing the current Salesforce environment, customisations, technical debt, and migration complexity
n
- Acting as the senior delivery and technical lead across the program – driving standups, managing stakeholders, and unblocking teams
n
- Leading and working with a cross‐functional team comprising a Technical Architect, Product Owner, Functional Analyst, Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Engineer, and multiple Business Analysts
n
- Setting technical direction, reviewing solution designs, and ensuring architectural integrity across the program
n
- Providing functional and technical coverage and guidance during key project transition periods
n
- Supporting data migration planning, FSC data model alignment, and integration design
n




- Remaining hands‐on where needed while operating at a strategic delivery and architecture level
n
- Establishing delivery structure, governance, engineering standards, and best practice across the program
n

Essential Experience

n

n
- Strong Salesforce engineering and architecture background with hands‐on platform depth
n
- Proven end‐to‐end experience delivering Salesforce Sales Cloud → Financial Services Cloud (FSC) migrations
n
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing cross‐functional Salesforce delivery teams including architects, engineers, admins, analysts, and BAs
n
- Strong delivery leadership capability within enterprise Salesforce environments
n
- Ability to operate autonomously and confidently within ambiguous or evolving programs
n
- Comfortable bridging technical architecture and functional delivery conversations
n
- Experience inheriting unfamiliar Salesforce environments and quickly identifying risks, dependencies, and migration challenges
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non‐technical audiences
n

- Insurance industry experience
n
- Exposure to commercial insurance, personal injury, or broker operations

- Experience within large Australian financial services organisations
n
- Salesforce DevOps exposure including CI/CD, version control, and scratch orgs
n
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data migration approaches and FSC data modelling
n
