Position Overview

This role will be a Sydney site-based engineer for a Data Centre project, providing technical support and day-to-day assistance to the Engineering, Construction and Commissioning Departments.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

- Assist in the supervision and management of day-to-day HVAC site activities - installation, commissioning and delivery of Climatech projects
- Assist in the monitoring of quality, site progress and programme requirements, compliance with specifications and safety standards, maintaining documentation
- Review drawings and schedules,



provide engineering and technical support
- Assist in identifying and resolving site and coordination issues
- Coordination and communication with the Client, Builder, Trades, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, Design Stakeholders and our internal Project team
- Collaborate with the BIM and drafting team – internal and/or subcontractors, for the on-time delivery of high-quality concept drawings and its development into fully coordinated and buildable Workshop Drawings
- Employ appropriate engineering techniques for the design of HVAC and Mechanical Services systems
- Prepare, develop, review, coordinate and manage engineering design deliverables including system and schematic sketches, calculations, equipment selections, technical submissions, reports and specifications
- Adhere to the Company’s HSE&Q; Policy and Procedures

Minimum Qualifications

- Minimum 2+ years’ Mechanical Services experience in Data Centre, Commercial, Healthcare or Infrastructure industries, with solid preference working on Australian projects
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent discipline
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam programmes
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- A valid driver’s license
