RSA is a well-established, family-owned structural engineering consultancy founded in 1975. We are a recognised and trusted name within the mining, industrial, and construction engineering sectors, particularly across Northwest Australia.

Due to sustained growth, we are seeking a Senior Chartered Structural Engineer (CPEng) to join our Perth-based structural engineering team.

About the Role

This is a senior-level Civil / Structural Engineering position with a robust technical and leadership focus. The role is primarily office-based in Myaree, with occasional site inspections.

Key responsibilities include

- Structural engineering design and documentation for mining, industrial, commercial, and residential projects
- Civil and structural engineering calculations using first-principles engineering
- Structural remediation assessments, reporting, and temporary works design
- Project management and coordination with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Preparation of engineering reports, specifications, and construction documentation
- Technical leadership and mentoring of graduate and junior structural engineers
- Delivery of practical, cost-effective, and constructible engineering solutions

Skills & Experience Required





- Minimum 5 years' experience in a structural engineering design office
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or actively working toward chartership
- Candidates should hold current CPEng certification or be in the near completion stages of the chartership process
- Must hold current CPEng status or be actively progressing towards chartership
- Engineers Australia–accredited degree in Civil Engineering (Structural)
- Strong background in structural design, analysis, and documentation
- Experience in mining and industrial projects (highly regarded)
- Mining and industrial project experience is preferred and highly valued for this position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and within a team
- Full Australian working rights
