About the role

Bribie Island Bowls Club is seeking experienced Chefs to join our talented team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in our well-equipped kitchen, ensuring a high standard of food quality and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills at a fantastic venue with amazing waterfront views.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking a variety of meals from our varied menu

2. Maintaining high standards of food presentation and portion control

3. Ensuring the kitchen operates in a safe and hygienic manner at all times

4. Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests

5. Assisting with stock management and ordering of ingredients as required

6. Adhering to all relevant food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

1.



At least 2-3 years' experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment

2. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

3. Strong time management and multitasking skills

4. Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation

5. Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

6. Current Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain

7. Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
