About the Role As Site Supervisor, you will independently manage and oversee all aspects of the site, supervising crews and subcontractors across a variety of civil construction and subdivision projects. You'll be the key point of contact keeping work on schedule, on budget, and to spec.
Your responsibilities will include
- Independently managing and overseeing all aspects of the site
- Supervising and coordinating site workers, plant/equipment, materials and subcontractors daily
- Overseeing subdivision works including:
- Bulk and detailed earthworks
- Underground services – sewer, water and drainage installation
- Road construction
- Kerbing and concrete works
- Pavements and final trim
- Service coordination and finishing works
- Organising and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to keep the project on schedule
- Attending site meetings and providing weekly progress updates to management
- Liaising with Project Managers, engineers, suppliers and clients
- Maintaining site records and managing safety documentation, including conducting toolbox meetings and fostering a strong safety culture
- Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they impact project delivery
- Ensuring projects stay on track with schedules, productivity and budgets
About You
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience, ideally within land development and subdivision projects
- Robust understanding of all stages of residential subdivision construction
- Experience in bulk earthworks and underground services
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current White Card
- Current Australian driver's licence
