About the role
n
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this position will be accountable for the safe and reliable day to day operational management of the Quilpie Depot.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Daily operational management & supervision of depot staff including recruitment, training, and performance management
n
- Responsible for administration and reconciliation of stock
n
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules
n
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
n
- Comply with all external regulatory requirements - including BFM
n
- Handling customer enquiries, issues, and complaints in a qualified manner
n
n
The successful applicant will require
n
n
- Previous experience in heavy vehicle &/or fuel industry an advantage
n
- Proven understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility legislation
n
- Sound Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail
n
- Effective communicator with proven record of building & maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Confident decision-maker with ability to work autonomously & lead a team within a diverse logistics operation
n
- Well-developed organisational, problem solving and time management skills
