Our client is a leading international bank with a strong global footprint in Corporate and Institutional Banking. As part of its continued growth in Australia, they are seeking a Senior Relationship Manager (Director level) to join their expanding Sydney team.

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to manage a sophisticated portfolio of domestic and international corporate and institutional clients, while playing a key role in driving strategic growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow a diversified portfolio of corporate and institutional clients, developing deep insight into their financial needs and capital requirements
n
- Originate, structure, and execute complex credit transactions, including new facilities and restructuring of existing exposures
n
- Lead end-to-end credit submissions, including financial analysis aligned with internal risk appetite and policy frameworks
n
- Conduct detailed industry and regulatory analysis to support portfolio strategy and client advisory
n
- Oversee KYC and AML/CTF due diligence processes, ensuring full compliance with APRA, AUSTRAC, ASIC, AFCA, and ACCC requirements
n
- Monitor portfolio performance post-settlement, identifying emerging risks and opportunities
n




- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, supporting long-term revenue growth and cross-selling opportunities
n
- Engage in market-facing activities including industry events and strategic networking
n
- Provide senior management with portfolio insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations
n

About You

n

n
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in Relationship Management within Corporate or Institutional Banking
n
- Strong expertise in credit structuring, corporate lending, and financial analysis
n
- Proven track record managing complex client relationships at a senior level
n
- Solid understanding of AML/CTF, KYC, and relevant Australian regulatory frameworks
n
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and origination capabilities
n
- Self-driven, highly accountable, and comfortable operating in a quick-paced environment
n
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
