We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our Cairns operation. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong technical background in either Auto Electrical or Transport Refrigeration who can effectively manage people, workflow and customer relationships.

About The Role

As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop
- Leading, mentoring and supporting technicians and apprentices
- Planning and scheduling workshop jobs to maximise productivity
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Providing technical support and guidance to the team
- Managing parts procurement and supplier relationships
- Monitoring workshop performance, efficiency and profitability
- Maintaining a safe and compliant workplace




- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Trade Qualifications And Experience In Either

- Auto Electrical, or
- Transport Refrigeration

- Previous experience leading a team or supervising technicians
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Sound computer and administration skills
- Current driver's licence
