About the role

WRISC Family Violence Support is looking for a dynamic and passionate woman to join the team and support women and children impacted by family violence.

Fixed Term to February 2027 1.0 FTE - Co-locate across two sites: Ballarat (Primary site) & Bacchus Marsh The role will work primarily alongside the Specialist Family Violence Case Management programs, as well as supporting our Creative Therapy Program. Tasks may include:

- Specialist Family Violence Practitioners with tasks aligning to client needs
- Maintaining accurate client records
- Assisting with client funding applications
- Supporting with planning and logistics of group work
- Assisting with data and reporting

We’re searching for skilled applicants that have:
- A foundational understanding of the drivers, dynamics and impacts of family violence.
- A relevant Vocational Education and Training (VET) Qualification, such as Diploma of Community Services or equivalent is preferred. A qualification in Social Work is highly desirable.
- A high level of interpersonal skills to work respectfully, autonomously, and effectively within a team and in collaboration with other professionals and organisations
- A willingness and ability to learn and develop within the role
