We are seeking experienced, reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators for ongoing work within busy Cold Storage and Freezer warehouse environments.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCE WITH:
- High Reach Forklifts – Double deep racking
- Counterbalance Forklifts – Slipsheet / Push Plate
- Crown Joystick machinery experience
- Picking and movement of palletised stock
- Labouring required – lifting boxes up to 27kg ie: combining mixed pallets for putaways or picking right numbers for dispatch
- RF scanning
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience in a Cold Storage / Freezer warehouse
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Current Drivers licence & reliable car
- Full Working rights in Australia (no Visa’s as these are Temp to Perm roles)
- Good understanding of safe warehouse practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Understanding & able to follow instructions, SOP’s and safety procedures
- Solid numeracy skills for counting & basic multiplication tasks
- Own PPE, including steel-capped safety boots
- Freezer clothing suitable for freezer environments preferred
- Current clean Victorian Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
