John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle is seeking a consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to cover their Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)team from 16 Nov 2026 to 12 Feb 2027.

You will work with the team-leader to provide support across the team, consisting of two other psychiatrists and three registrars. Tele-health and part-time options are negotiable for the right candidate.

Key Benefits:

- $2,700 per day

- Tele-health negotiable
- Part time hours negotiable
- No on-callrequired
- Public holidays off
- Days only; 8:30am-5:00pm.

To be be considered, you will have:

- Specialist AHPRA registration
- Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
- Familiarity with SDPR (desirable)




- Relevant paediatric psychiatry experience, ideally in eating disorders
- Current medical indemnity insurance that covers psychiatry
