Locum O&G; Consultant / Staff Specialist / VMO - Lismore Base Hospital

Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Locum Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant, Staff Specialist or VMO to support O&G; services.

n

This role is suited to an experienced O&G; specialist who is confident supporting obstetric and gynaecology presentations, clinical reviews, management planning, documentation and escalation of care where required.

Clinical Workplace

- Obstetrics and Gynaecology consultant-level cover
n
- Hospital-based locum position at Lismore Base Hospital
n
- Regional hospital setting within Northern NSW LHD
n
- Supportive clinical environment with escalation pathways available
n
- Suitable for doctors with recent O&G; consultant-level experience
n

n

Key Duties

n

n
- Review and manage obstetric and gynaecology patients
n
- Support clinical decision-making and management plans
n
- Complete documentation and handover as required
n
- Work collaboratively with medical, midwifery, nursing and allied health teams
n
- Escalate care appropriately when required
n

n

Eligibility Criteria

n

n
- Current AHPRA Specialist Registration




n
- Recent Obstetrics and Gynaecology consultant-level experience
n
- Strong communication, leadership and clinical judgement
n
- Ability to work safely within scope and escape appropriately
n
- Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
n
