About the Position

The Retail Manager role is responsible for overseeing the full operations of the Metro Petroleum Minto store, ensuring smooth day-to-day running, staff performance, budget control, stock management, and customer service standards. This position plays a critical part in driving sales performance, maintaining the store's reputation, and supporting Hari Petroleum Pty Ltd's overall business objectives through effective leadership and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

- Organise all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
n
- Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
n
- Prepare and control the store's budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
n
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within the budget
n
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store's reputation
n
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
n
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
n
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
n
- Analyse the sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
n
- Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines

Requirements

- Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply

- Diploma or higher qualification

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage budgets, supervise teams, handle customer complaints effectively, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards
