InterContinental Perth City Centre is seeking a casual Storeperson to join our charming, confident and internationally minded team who knows how to exceed guest expectations.

Your day to day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- Receive, unload and inspect packages and check for broken or missing items.
- Verify paperwork and match delivery slips and packing lists to original purchase orders.
- Record and log incoming stock into software or databases.
- Organize stock and place items in appropriate storage areas.
- Move delivered stock to the right section of the hotel and storing items correctly. Apply FIFO principles where applicable.
- Support Finance with accurate information for inventory control and reporting.
- Maintain strong documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.

Your accuracy and care protects both the hotel's inventory and its financial integrity.

What we need from you

The successful candidatewill be:





- Be motivated, proactive & organised with strong communication skills and a robust attention to detail.
- Proven ability to interact with all hotel colleagues and third parties (suppliers) in a qualified manner.
- a provenapproach to problem solving.
- Availability and ability to start work early in the morning, shifts start at 6am!
- Availability on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings, every week
- Physical ability for regular manual handling tasks throughout entire shift.
