We are looking for a motivated, energetic and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team and help us grow our presence in the Brisbane fitness market.

The role will involve retail sales, customer service, product demonstrations and supporting local market development and promotional activities.

About You

- Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service or a similar customer-facing role.

- A genuine interest in fitness, gyms, sport and the fitness industry.

- Good understanding of the fitness and gym equipment industry.
n
- Valuable knowledge of common gym equipment and how it is used.
n
- The ability to learn and confidently explain product features, functions and suitable applications to customers.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Confidence speaking with customers both in person and over the phone.
n
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
n
- A professional, presentable and fitness-oriented appearance suitable for representing a fitness brand.

- The ability to represent Major Fitness professionally when dealing with customers, businesses and the public.

- The ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable fitness products.

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

- The ability to work towards sales targets and KPIs.

What You'll Be Doing

- Welcoming and assisting customers with their enquiries.
n
- Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable fitness products.
n
- Providing product information and demonstrations on gym equipment.
n
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
n
- Processing sales, orders and customer transactions accurately.
n
- Following up with customers and potential customers.
n
- Supporting the sales team with day-to-day sales activities.
n
- Maintaining accurate customer and product information.
n
- Keeping the showroom and sales area organised and presentable.
n
- Working towards daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
n
- Supporting local promotional activities, shopping centre promotions and fitness events when required.
n
- Helping promote Major Fitness products and maintain a professional brand image.
n
- Contributing to the growth of our Brisbane market.
n
- Staying up to date with fitness industry trends, products and equipment.
n




- Developing strong product knowledge and confidently explaining fitness equipment to customers.
n
- Representing the Major Fitness brand professionally in-store, at shopping centre promotions and at fitness events.
