The Position:
n
We are seeking 2 passionate Veterinary Nurses to join our team at the North Lakes. This role focuses on providing outstanding patient care across our hospital teams including in wards, surgery and medicine.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Delivering quality nursing care in general wards and specialty areas, ensuring a smooth workflow and superior patient experience
n
- Monitoring and assisting with patient care including TPRs, following treatments protocols and medication administration
n
- Supporting surgical and emergency teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes
n
- Utilising advanced diagnostic and medical equipment in collaboration with the wider hospital team
n
n
We have 2 part time positions available (30 hours per week) with a rotating roster that covers Monday to Friday (6 am to 8 pm) and includes rotational weekend shifts.

Requirements of the Role:
n
n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
n
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in Veterinary Nursing
n
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care with attention to detail
n
- Extensive knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and terminology
n
- Confidence in anaesthesia recovery and basic monitoring
n
- Adaptability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
n
- Proven ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations
n
