About the role

n

We are seeking Domestic Care Assistants who are committed to ensuring the highest possible standard of in-home care for our valued clients. This position will be part-time and based within Redback Plains and surrounding suburbs.

n

Key responsibilities?

n

Assisting clients with general housekeeping duties i.e. cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting as prescribed in the client's care plan

n

Providing social support activities which may include driving clients to appointments and assorted locations

n

Ensuring the client's home is hygienic and a safe environment that supports the promotion of independence

n

Recognising and responding to changes in a clients' condition, as well as documenting and communicating this information as required

n

Other things you might like to know

You will be required to use your private vehicle for work purposes,



with a kilometre-reimbursement offered.

n

About you:

n

Has experience performing domestic duties to a high quality

n

Is genuinely empathetic with elderly clients and has a passion to work within the community service industry and enhance client's lives

n

Has excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to, and communicate effectively with all clients

n

Has an understanding of and commitment to working within professional boundaries

n

Is resilient, patient and calm under pressure

n

Understanding of specialised service delivery within diverse groups, specifically Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD, Veterans, Disability, Mental Health, LGBTI+ and Homelessness is desirable

n
