Corporate Accountant Accounting and Finance | Group Reporting
Docklands, Melbourne | $120,000 plus super A global logistics and infrastructure business is creating a new Corporate Accountant position to support group reporting and the consolidation of a new business into the group. The role sits close to the Senior Finance Manager and offers genuine scope to shape how the function runs.
The business operates at scale across Australia, with this team based in Docklands.
The Role
- Owns group reporting responsibilities, including consolidation and intercompany work
- Supports the integration of a newly acquired business into the group structure
- Partners closely with the Senior Finance Manager through the consolidation process
- Builds process where none currently exists, given the newly created nature of the role
- Contributes to month end and group level reporting requirements
- Works cross functionally as the new entity is brought into group systems and process
Background Required
- CA or CPA qualified, or close to completion
- Group reporting experience is a must, including consolidation and intercompany accounting
- Exposure to bringing a new entity or acquired business into an existing group, highly regarded
- Comfortable building process in a role with no incumbent and no fixed playbook
