About the Role Working within our private lending and property investment division, you will play a key role in identifying, assessing, structuring and managing secured real estate lending opportunities.
Unlike many institutional lending roles, you will have exposure to the entire transaction lifecycle—from origination and credit assessment through to settlement, portfolio management and recovery strategies.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Assessing and structuring real estate-backed lending opportunities
- Conducting detailed credit analysis, due diligence and valuation reviews
- Preparing credit submissions and recommendations for approval
- Structuring loan facilities,
security arrangements and risk mitigants
- Managing portfolio performance and covenant compliance
- Monitoring and reporting on loan book performance and emerging risks
- Building relationships with brokers, valuers, solicitors and other internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting business growth
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience in credit analysis, commercial lending or property-backed lending
- Sound understanding of credit risk assessment and loan structuring
- Experience analysing residential or commercial real estate transactions
- Strong commercial judgement and decision-making capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with brokers and external stakeholders
