Clubhouse Operations Manager

Lead the heart of one of Sydney's premier golf clubs. North Ryde Golf Club is seeking an experienced, hands‐on Clubhouse Operations Manager to take ownership of our clubhouse hospitality operations — from the Halfway Bar and Club Lounge to the Sports Bar, gaming and functions.

The Role

n

This is a senior operational role reporting directly to the General Manager, with responsibility for a multi‐department hospitality team including our Bar Manager, Functions Coordinator and front‐line staff. You'll be the driving force behind service standards, rostering, compliance and commercial performance across the clubhouse — ensuring every member and guest interaction reflects the quality North Ryde is known for

What you'll do:

n

- Own the day‐to‐day running of clubhouse hospitality across bar, gaming, dining and functions
n
- Lead, roster and develop a multi‐department team, building a skilled and engaged workforce
n
- Manage labour costs, budgets and P&L; performance across clubhouse operations
n
- Ensure rock‐solid compliance with RSA, RCG, WHS, liquor licensing and food safety obligations
n
- Drive functions and events growth alongside the Functions Coordinator
n
- Be the senior point of contact for member and guest feedback,



resolving issues with professionalism

- Deputise for the General Manager on clubhouse matters as requiredon
n

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Proven experience managing operations in a club, licensed venue or hospitality environment, with direct supervision of a multi‐department team
n
- A strong track record managing rosters, labour costs and P&L; outcomes
n
- Current RSA and Advanced RCG certifications
n
- Solid working knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming regulations, food safety and WHS requirements
n
- Excellent leadership and people‐management skills, with genuine commercial acumen
n
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with members, staff and senior management
n
- Experience with POS, rostering and gaming/membership systems
n

Desirable: formal hospitality/business qualifications, experience in a registered club or golf club environment, and a background managing functions and events.
