Quantum Medical Imaging is looking for an experienced Administrative Team Leader to join our growing team and play a key role in the opening and ongoing success of our new Browns Plains clinic.

n

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced radiology administrator who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

n

You'll be at the centre of the clinic — supporting patients, leading the administration team, coordinating workflows and working closely with Radiologists, technical staff and referrers to ensure the practice runs smoothly every day.

n

Previous experience working in radiology or diagnostic imaging is essential for this position.

n

About the Role

n

As Administrative Lead, you will take ownership of the day-to-day administration function within the clinic while providing hands-on support to your team.

n

You will help establish a professional, efficient and welcoming front-office environment and ensure our patients receive an exceptional experience from their first phone call through to completion of their appointment.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading and supporting the clinic administration/reception team
n
- Coordinating daily reception and administrative workflows
n
- Managing patient bookings across multiple imaging modalities
n
- Handling patient enquiries, registrations and appointment preparation
n
- Ensuring referrals and patient information are accurate and complete
n
- Supporting Medicare billing, payments and general account enquiries
n
- Managing complex bookings and resolving scheduling issues
n
- Liaising with Radiologists, Sonographers, Radiographers and other clinical team members
n
- Communicating professionally with referring doctors and medical practices
n
- Supporting staff rostering,



training and onboarding
n
- Maintaining high standards of patient service and confidentiality
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve clinic processes and administrative workflows
n
- Assisting with the successful establishment and growth of our new Browns Plains clinic
n

n

This is a hands-on leadership position, so you'll be comfortable leading from the front and assisting with reception and patient administration when required.

n

About You

n

You are an experienced radiology administrator who understands the pace, complexity and importance of delivering an efficient diagnostic imaging service.

n

You are calm under pressure, highly organised and confident supporting both patients and staff.

n

Most importantly, you are someone who enjoys creating a positive workplace culture and takes pride in helping a clinic run exceptionally well.

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Previous administration/reception experience within radiology or diagnostic imaging – ESSENTIAL
n
- Strong knowledge of radiology bookings and patient workflows
n
- Experience working across multiple imaging modalities and understanding different appointment requirements
n
- Previous senior administration, supervisory or team leadership experience highly regarded
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A professional and compassionate approach to patient care
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy clinical environment
n
- Experience dealing with referrers, patients and clinical staff
n
- A proactive approach to problem‐solving

- The ability to lead, support and motivate an administration team
n

Experience with radiology information systems, medical billing and Medicare processes will be highly regarded.
