Have optical dispensing experience or be studying Optometry

Be highly motivated, positive and friendly

Have explicit communication skills and excellent listening skills

Have the ability to use own initiative and deal with problem solving

Have great personal presentation

The role will involve:
n
Booking appointments and processing payments
n
Assisting patients choose suitable frames and lenses
n
Ordering prescription lenses and contact lenses
n
Optical lab work including cutting and fitting prescription lenses, tinting lenses and repairs. Training available in all these areas.
n
This is a casual or permanent part time position that may become full time. Candidate must be willing to work most Saturdays.

Candidates must be permanent residents of Australia to be eligible for this position.
