Auscar Auto Services is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our growing team on a full-time basis, working a minimum of 38 hours per week. Based in the Wyndham area with service operations spanning Truganina and Hoppers Crossing, we are a reputable full-service automotive repair and maintenance centre committed to delivering exceptional workmanship and honest customer care to all of our clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing general and advanced mechanical services for a wide variety of vehicle makes and models. Your primary focus will be ensuring that every vehicle that enters our workshop is serviced, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and roadworthiness. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in their trade and can work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative workshop team.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 per annum.
Daily duties typically involve:
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Performing routine logbook servicing, tune-ups, and scheduled maintenance
- Repairing and replacing worn or damaged vehicle components, including brakes, suspension, steering, and engine parts
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and testing repaired systems to ensure optimal performance
- Maintaining a clean, secure, and organized work environment in accordance with workshop standards
- Communicating service requirements and repair recommendations clearly and honestly to team members and customers
