Women Up North Housing Inc. (WUNH) is seeking a passionate and culturally grounded Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family, Domestic Violence and Homelessness Case Worker to join our team at our Ballina Road office and Bugalma Bihyn Aboriginal refuge.
This is an opportunity to work alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children experiencing domestic and family violence and/or homelessness, providing culturally safe, trauma-informed and strengths-based support.
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of culture, connection, self-determination and Aboriginal ways of working, and who is committed to supporting women and children to achieve safety, stability and positive outcomes.
We welcome applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who are passionate about working within a culturally protected, supportive and community-focused environment.
This is a female-designated position approved under section 126 of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
