Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator – Babies Room

Full-Time | 3-Month Contract | Leeming Child Care Centre

We are looking for a confident, warm and experienced Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a full-time, 3-month contract, working primarily within our babies room.

This temporary position is to provide additional support and consistency within the centre while covering staff annual leave and educator work placements.

About the role

We are looking for someone who is:

- Confident and capable working within a babies room
- Warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys working with babies and young children
- Experienced and able to settle quickly into an established team
- Reliable, flexible and able to use their initiative
- A strong team player with valuable communication skills
- Familiar with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Willing to step into leadership or "Responsible Person" roles occasionally will be preferred.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must

- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent
- Have completed required Geccko Child Safety Training certificates
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Hold a current Police Clearance
- Hold current First Aid qualifications relevant to Early Childhood Education and Care
- Be able to provide a current health/medical clearance




- Successful applicants will be required to provide two references.

We are looking for someone who can confidently step into the role, become part of our team and provide consistency and high-quality care for our babies throughout the three-month period. The employment could continue beyond the fixed term contract.
