We are currently seeking a reliable, resilient and compassionate Disability Support Worker who lives in or around Kenthurst (Dural area) to support a 60 year-old male with a brain injury and paraplegia, so he can live independently within the family home.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Medication administration
- Assistance with Allied health tasks and therapy tasks
- Manual handling and use of mobility equipment
- Meal preparation and household domestic tasks
- Documentation and reporting
- Community access- need to drive modified vehicle
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene tasks
Bowel and catheter care (full training provided) You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.
Shifts available:
This is program is attended to by support workers 24/7, so there are a variety of shifts available. Currently, we are seeking someone available:
- Mondays 8am-5pm Fortnightly on Tuesdays 9am-11am
Requirements:
- Fluent English skills
- Previous care experience required not not necessary
- Current references
- Mobile phone
- Current driver's license and your own car
- NDIS Worker's Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- Working With Children's Check or willingness to obtain (paid/employee - mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (HLTAID011 or higher - mandatory)
- Certificate III in Aged/Disability or another relevant field (mandatory)
