We are seeking Duty Managers / Hotel Managers to take on full-time roles based in in Toowoomba, Darling Downs region. The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For a Range Of Duties To Ensure That The Business’ Operations Are Smoothly Integrated And Run Efficiently, Including:
- Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, check in, room service and housekeeping activities.
- Welcoming guests to the hotel, restaurant, functions and events, and providing them with local tourism information about the Toowoomba region.
- Planning a range of function, conference and restaurant events that cater for both corporate and leisure sectors.
- Overseeing accounting, purchasing and cost monitoring.
- Ensuring compliance with liquor, health and safety laws and regulations.
- Managing customer complaints and queries in a professional manner and resolving any conflicts.
- Assisting the owners with the development of documented procedures and staff training.
- Supervising security arrangements and arranging contractors for property maintenance when required.
To Secure This Exciting Position, You Will Need:
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Hotel Management or closely related discipline (candidates with at least 3 years’ relevant full-time work experience will also be considered).
- A minimum of 1 year full time experience in a similar role.
- A strong focus on high-level customer service and guest satisfaction.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate applied leadership.
- Access to reliable transport.
