Auto Electricians – FIFO Underground Mining

FIFO from Perth | Geraldton Region | $80–$90/hr

We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join an underground mining operation located just out of Geraldton, WA.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Auto Electricians with a strong background in underground mobile plant maintenance.

Candidates must have hands-on experience working on underground mining equipment, including drill rigs, jumbos and underground haul trucks.

Essential experience

- Sandvik DD420 / DD421 / DD423i




- Epiroc underground equipment
- Underground drill rigs and jumbos
- Underground haul trucks
- Underground mobile mining equipment
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance
- Auto electrical systems, wiring and electrical components

What we’re looking for

- Trade-qualified Auto Electrician
- Proven underground mining experience
- Robust electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience maintaining underground mobile plant
- Safety-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team
