The Role:

Our News Travels store offers a range of newspapers, magazines, latest release books, travel essentials and snacks for your trip. From the iconic brands of LEGO, JBL and Apple to an area dedicated to a wide range of gifts, apparel, souvenirs and locally sourced produce, stop into News Travels before your flight.

We’re looking for Casual Retail Assistants to join our team at Newcastle Airport . If you love customer service, quick-paced environments, and making shopping fun, this is your chance to shine!

Good availability between 4:45AM to 9:30PM with either morning or night shifts on offer (Week days and weekends)

Flexibility across the 7 days desirable

Physically fit, some lifting required!

What You’ll Do:

- Deliver outstanding customer service & expert product recommendations
- Stay ahead of trends with ongoing professional training
- Keep the store looking vibrant & well-stocked
- Process transactions smoothly & efficiently
- Assist customers with queries in a friendly, professional manner

What We’re Looking For:

- Passion for customer service & sales
- Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate
- Confident communicator with a positive attitude




- Well-groomed & professionally presented
- Some retail/hospitality experience
- Flexible availability (early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays)
- Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
