Working alongside the Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading and developing a high-performing team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across one of Sydney's premier dining destinations.

Key responsibilities

- Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant
n
- Lead, mentor and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service
n
- Ensure service standards are consistently maintained across all shifts
n
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
n
- Manage guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently
n
- Assist with rostering, labour management and payroll accuracy
n
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service
n
- Assist in achieving financial targets through effective labour, wage and cost control
n
- Maintain compliance with food safety,
RSA and workplace health and safety requirement
n
- Foster a positive team culture focused on professionalism, accountability and genuine hospitality
n

About you
n

- Full Australian working rights
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory role within premium hospitality
n
- Strong leadership and team development skills
n
- Current NSW RSA Certificate
n
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills
n
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced environment
n
- Robust organisational and time management skills
n
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant reservations
n
- Sound understanding of hospitality compliance and workplace health and safety
n
- Ongoing training and professional development
