With an assigned Dental Assistant you will work alongside our experienced team of Dentists, Oral Health Therapists, and Hygienists to deliver outstanding preventive and restorative care for children in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Your Role as an Oral Health Therapist

n

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will focus on delivering high-quality oral health care for children, including:

n

- Comprehensive oral health assessments for children
n
- Preventive dentistry, including cleans, fluoride applications and fissure sealants
n
- Oral health education and hygiene instruction for children and parents
n
- Radiographs and diagnostic imaging
n
- Restorative treatment for children within your scope of practice
n
- Management and prevention of early childhood dental disease
n
- Digital scanning and imaging using leading technologies including Trios Scanners, CBCT and Digital OPG
n
- Utilising innovative equipment including Digital Intraoral Radiography, Nikon Cameras, Intraoral Cameras, and NSK Varios Combi Pro/EMS Airflow
n
- Collaborating closely with our Dentists to provide seamless patient care
n

Clinical Hours

n

This role is available 3-4 days per week, Monday to Friday.

n

Typical rostered hours are:

n

n
- 7:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Thursday
n
- 7:30am - 6:00pm Friday
n




- Patients scheduled from 8:00am - 5:30pm
n

n

No weekends. No late nights.

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
n
- Children's Scope of Practice
n
- Current vaccination records suitable for healthcare employment
n
- CBCT and OPG experience (advantageous but not essential)
n
