Indigeco is recruiting an Enterprise Financial Management Project Analyst for our NSW Government client. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a view to extend, supporting a high-profile finance transformation program within the Strategy and Transformation portfolio.

This role will suit a hands-on Business Analyst, Finance Analyst or Project Analyst with strong experience across finance processes, ERP systems, reporting, data, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement. You will support the delivery of financial management, data, reporting and system improvements that strengthen cost transparency, governance and decision-making across the organisation.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a large NSW Government-owned organisation delivering essential infrastructure and operational services across the state. You will be joining a highly visible transformation program with senior executive sponsorship and strong organisational focus.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Capture, analyse and document business requirements across finance, project, asset and reporting processes
- Assess current-state processes, identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities, and translate findings into clear functional requirements
- Develop process maps, decision records, data requirements, acceptance criteria and other business analysis artefacts
- Support financial and project master data analysis, including account code structures, project attributes and business unit configurations
- Maintain data inventories, mapping artefacts, issue registers and documentation to support future-state financial processes
- Support financial governance and process improvement across CAPEX, OPEX,



project code management, charging and timesheet practices
- Work with Finance, Digital, external vendors and delivery partners to support D365, reporting and business process improvements

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, Project Analyst or Finance Analyst delivering finance, ERP, reporting, process improvement, transformation or data-focused initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Business Analysis, Project Management, Information Systems or a similar discipline
- Robust knowledge of business analysis methodologies, agile delivery frameworks and continuous improvement principles
- Experience in requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, business process mapping and stakeholder engagement
- Strong understanding of financial management, project accounting, asset management, enterprise reporting or master data processes
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, project accounting, asset management, enterprise reporting platforms, utilities, infrastructure or regulated environments will be highly regarded
