About the Roles: Solution/ Enterprise Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect (with a background in Solution Architecture) to lead the development of our client’s conceptual and logical architecture and guide the organisation's technology strategy across infrastructure, data, applications, and project delivery.

This is a high-impact role for an Architect who can operate at both strategic, solution and “hands-on” levels, shaping long-term architectural direction while actively supporting the delivery of live and upcoming projects.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors to ensure architectural decisions are sound, scalable, and aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture Leadership : Lead and own the organisation's conceptual and logical architecture and 5-year strategy, ensuring alignment with business strategy and future-state goals.
- Roadmaps and strategy for disparate physical networks, WAN, data centre, and telecommunications.
- Define architectural imperatives, identify gaps, and recommend remediation and investment priorities.
- Infrastructure & Data Centre Strategy : define and lead the infrastructure and data centre services strategy, including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid considerations.
- Applications & SaaS: Provide expert advice on SaaS adoption and applications delivery models,



including integration, scalability, and vendor selection considerations.
- Data Architecture: Define data architecture principles and standards, and guide the program delivery lifecycle to ensure data is managed as a strategic asset.
- Project & Program Support Provide architectural assistance across multiple concurrent projects (inflight and new), including:
- Scope definition and planning
- Advice on resourcing and estimating
- Vendor engagement and commercial/sourcing strategy
- Oversight of solution delivery to ensure architectural integrity is maintained

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect, ideally at a senior or lead level.
- Strategic roadmaps, long term ICT Architecture planning
- Robust background in infrastructure, networks, and data centre architecture.
- Experience advising on SaaS and application delivery models.
- Solid understanding of data architecture principles and program delivery lifecycles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously, including vendor and commercial engagement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical strategy into business outcomes.
- Relevant architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF) highly regarded.
